This Legal Notice applies to all products sold by Grand Parade Equestrian through our website, Shopify store, social media channels, events, markets, pop-ups and other approved sales channels.

1. Product Use

Grand Parade Equestrian products are designed as equestrian-inspired apparel and accessories for children, youth and/or riders, depending on the product description.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, our products are not safety equipment and are not designed to replace approved protective riding gear such as helmets, body protectors, safety vests, appropriate footwear or other specialist equestrian safety equipment.

Horse riding and equestrian activities involve inherent risks. Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are suitable for their intended use and are worn with appropriate supervision, training and safety equipment.

2. Children’s Products

Where products are purchased for children or young riders, a parent, guardian or responsible adult must ensure that the product is suitable, correctly sized, safely fitted and appropriate for the child’s activity.

Products should be inspected regularly for wear, damage, loose trims, fastenings or other defects. Discontinue use immediately if a product becomes damaged or unsafe.

3. Sizing, Colours and Product Descriptions

We take care to describe and display our products as accurately as possible. However, product colours may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting, photography and production batches.

Sizing information is provided as a guide only. Customers should refer to the size chart and product description before purchasing. If you are unsure about sizing, please contact us before placing your order.

4. Product Care

Customers must follow the care instructions provided on the product label or product page. Grand Parade Equestrian is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect washing, drying, ironing, storage, general wear and tear, misuse, neglect, alterations or failure to follow care instructions.

5. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

6. Returns, Refunds and Faulty Products

Nothing in this Legal Notice limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a product is faulty, not of acceptable quality, not as described, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy depending on the nature of the problem. The ACCC explains that remedies may include repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or compensation depending on the issue.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grand Parade Equestrian is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from:

misuse of a product;
use of a product for an unintended purpose;
failure to follow care, safety or fitting instructions;
normal wear and tear;
participation in horse riding or equestrian activities;
use of a product as protective or safety equipment where it has not been expressly sold for that purpose.

Nothing in this clause excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Intellectual Property

All Grand Parade Equestrian branding, logos, designs, product names, images, graphics, text, website content and other intellectual property are owned by or licensed to Grand Parade Equestrian.

You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, use or commercially exploit any Grand Parade Equestrian material without our prior written consent.

The information on our website is provided for general product and shopping purposes only. While we aim to keep information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that all website content will be free from errors, omissions or temporary inaccuracies.
